Excellent, well maintained property not far from Adelaide CBD.
Positive: The location of the property was perfect for our needs and we loved the lounges in the backyard which were great for a quiet drink with the crew. There was a lovely cafe just down the street which we visited each morning. The house was clean, tidy and well stocked.
Negative: We liked it all so there’s nothing negative to add.

**** Lovely property **** Wonderful location **** Would definitely return *****
Positive: Almost everything! Beautiful location and house. The property had everything we needed, plus the little things you sometimes don’t consider when traveling (e.g. laundry detergent).
Well thought out with the guest in mind, our stay was made to be more convenient and comfortable, and less chaotic, knowing the little things have been thought of.
The house has some beautiful decor, is tidy, clutter-free, spacious and well fitted out. Easy to live in for a few weeks.
Lovely backyard, large living and dining area, built in dining in the kitchen as well. Two of the bedrooms are huge and all 3 have cupboards.
We were spoiled by split cycle A/C in the living area and one of the bedrooms!
Thank you for the stay! :-)
Negative: I think we managed to arrive at the end of all of the batteries’ lives at this property! The TV remote, the fan remotes, the digital lock on the front door - you name it! If it ran off batteries, I either avoided it because it was not working, or I replaced the batteries. Apart from that, and a few dirty dishes mixed in with the clean ones, I have no complaints.

Filthy, unwelcoming, not enough beds. Not as described.
Positive: Location was very convenient as we had a function in the city.
The size and layout of the home was great as we travelled with 5 children.
When we did have issues on check in, the host was available via phone to assist as best he could and organised extra linen, and towels as the bedding configuration wasn't as described to me via messages we had sent. I was sent pictures of his other property with bunk beds. He also readily alerted neighbour who came to assist with opening door, and ended up needing a handyman to fix the door so we could enter.
The toys were great to keep kids amused. Also full sized fridge. They did set up a cot for us also.
Negative: This is where it will get ugly. We arrived evening, expecting 2x queen beds, a single and also a bunk bed, and a cot. What we got was a cot, 3x queen beds. I asked if the configuration viab private message was correct and they replied with we have bunk beds and a picture of a bunk bed that looked like a little house, also a single bed in that room. We travelled with a 10month old baby, a couple (us), 2x 9yo children, a 14yo and a 4yo. So we required all seperate beds for the children. I was assured it would work for us via message. That's not the first thing we noticed. The access door wasn't easy to open, the actual lock didn't disengage properly and we had to pull the handle toward us to in fact open the door firstly.
Imagine arriving later in afternoon/evening with several children expecting they're own place to sleep. For 5 nights, 1 night this couldn't even be overlooked with a blended family of children. The cot was set up in our room, it was flaking paint everywhere on the top rail that had been pre chewed by previous users.
We had luckily packed a porta cot in case for the baby. So we used this instead. I called the host about the beds. He admitted that I had in fact been sent an image of his other property he owns by mistake. He also stated he wasn't in Adelaide and would organise some bedding and towels as we had only 5 towels.... he said there may be a single mattress in the cupboard. We went searching. This was foam and lucky only needed for the 4yo. We had to go and purchase 3 more mattress for the children. It was 8pm by this time, with several phone calls. The linen was delivered at 10pm.
The front door couldn't be opened from inside properly without pushing on the top of the handle and applying pressure for the lock to dis engage. The host didn't speak great English and he really didn't understand. We were trapped in the house. With no way to get out. The side gates were locked and no phsycal keys given.
Good to know
